Yummy est une chanteuse et auteur sensationnelle ! Elle a 18 ans et fut, entre 2000 et 2004 une membre du duo Tha' Rayne (tardivement devenu un trio). C'est aussi la fille du producteur Dinky Bingham ! Sa première apparition discographique remonte à 2001, avec un titre (en duo avec De La Soul) sur la BO de Osmosis Jones. Quelques mois plus tard, on a pu entendre sa voix sur le tube de De La Soul "Baby Phat", puis avec Shaquana Elam (au sein du duo Tha' Rayne), Yummy a sorti 3 singles ("Rock Wit Me", "No Love" et "Didn't You Know"), chanté sur le tube de Jaheim ("Fabulous") et collaboré avec Queen Latifah, Boyz II Men ou encore Next. Début 2004, Tha' Rayne se fait viré d'Arista en même temps que son PDG. Yummy décide alors de se re-concentrer sur sa carrière solo ! 2004 est son année ! Elle vient de décrocher un nouveau contrat (avec Casablanca/Universal ?), et récemment, elle a fait les choeurs pour Patti Labelle (en tournée et sur l'album), chanté avec Tarralyn Ramsey sur son album, chanté avec De La Soul pour leur album prévu en septembre, elle sera aussi sur l'album de Jae Millz, sur celui de Ja Rule et elle a écrit pour l'album d'Ashanti. On la retrouve actuellement sur le 1er single solo de Salt (de Salt N Pepa), et elle vient d'enregistré un duo avec 2 Pac pour son prochain album posthume...

She is also the daughter of platinum producer Dinky Bingham ! Yummy first came out in 2001, on the Osmosis Jones soundtrack, with a duet with De La Soul. Soon after, she was featured on De La's worldwide hit "Baby Phat". Then, she concentrated on her group Tha Rayne. They released 3 singles ("Rock Wit Me", "No Love", "Didn't You Know"), appeared on Jaheim's platinum single "Fabulous" and collaborated to artists such as Queen Latifah, Boyz II Men or Next. In early 2004, Tha' Rayne was dropped from arista when CEO Reid was fired ! Yummy decided to re-concentrate solo ! 2004 is her year ! She has just signed a new deal (Casablanca/Universal ?), and she recently backed up Patti Labelle (on stage and on the record), sang with Tarralyn Ramsey on her new album, collaborated to De La Soul on their new album due to be released September. She will also be featured on next albums from Jae Millz and Ja Rule and she wrote songs for Ashanti. She is curently featured on the first solo single from Salt (from Salt N pepa) and she's just recorded a duet with 2 Pac for his forthcoming posthume album...
