Voilà une chanteuse que j'attend avec impatience ! Elle a 18 ans, et elle est chez Arista depuis un an déjà au moins ! Son album devait sortir le 23 septembre dernier mais bon faudra encore attendre un peu... Elle a toujours pas de single de sorti mais ça ne saurai tarder ! C'est la petite protégée du super-producteur Jazze Pha qui l'a signée sur son label "Futuristic Records" et vu comment il parle d'elle ça donne envie de l'écouter : "Ciara c'est la version féminine d'USher ! Elle dance, chante, écrit et elle a une sacrée personalité ! Elle est incroyable ! LA Reid (président d'Arista) est super enthousiaste à son sujet... Jermaine Dupri (vice-président d'Arista) aussi !"... Elle a fait plusieurs collaboratiosn comme choriste, et figure sur un titre de TI.... Alors garder l'oeil et retenez ce nom : CIARA ! Car elle fera du bruit en 2004 !


Here is Arista's best kept secret talent ! She is 18 years old and she is signed by Arista since more than a year ! Her debut album should have been released last september 23 but I think we have to wait a bit more... she still has no single out ! Her mentor is no-one else than Jazze Pha who signed her to his label Futuristic Records, and when he speak about her... he really gives the wishing to ear more from her : "She's like the female version of Usher ! She dances, sings, writes, she's got a gang of personality ! She's incredible ! LA Reid (head of Arista) is super excited about her... Jermaine Dupri (vice-pdt of Arista) as well !" She did several background vocals including a track on T.I's last album. So keep an eye on this name : CIARA, cause she'll make some noize in 2004 !

18/2/2004 : L'album de Ciara est prévu pour le 25 mai ! Le premier single devrait être "Looking At You", un titre déjà apparu sur 2 mixtapes et produit par Jermaine Dupri ! Ciara's debut album will be in stores May 25th 2004 ! And the first single should be "Looking At You" a track that already appeared on 2 mixtapes and that is produced by Jermaine Dupri !

Xscape est à mes yeux un des meilleurs groupe de R&B féminin des années 1990' ! LaTocha, Kandi, Tiny et Tamika sont vraiment talentueuses et leur carrière pleine de tubes et de titres excellents ! En ce moment, LaTocha se concentre sur son album solo sorti en octobre 2003, sa soeur Tamika (qui est aussi pasteur) enregistre un album Gospel ; tandis que et Tiny et Kandi (qui a beaucoup écrit en 2003 : Blu Cantrell, Zena, Tommi, Cherish, LSG, Gangsta Boo, Jess, etc...) ont repris en 2003 la route des studios pour enregistré une démo, ensemble, sous le nom de K.a.T... esperons qu'elles trouveront une maison de disque pour les signer...
Enfin bref, tout ça pour dire que les filles sont bien occupées en ce moment mais que la possibilité de voir se reformer le groupe est bien réelle même si c'est pas pour 2004.


Xscape is for me one of the best girl group of the 1990' ! LaTocha, Kandi, Tiny and Tamika are all so talented ! Right now LaTocha is concentrating on her solo album (released last october 2003) ; her sister Tamika is recording a Gospel album ; while Tiny (who was featured on 2003 Bow Wow's hit single "Let's Get Down") his reunited Kandi (who wrote a lot in 2003 : Blu Cantrell, Zena, Tommi, Cherish, LSG, Gangsta Boo, Jess, etc...) and together they go by the name of K.a.T. They recorded a demo and looking for a record deal. Well you see the girsl are busy but that not means that it is impossible to see the group re-formed... maybe in few years

LaTocha Scott était de loin dans Xscape ma préférée ! Sa voix est tellement.... tellement... tellement... WOW ! En 1996 elle envisageait de quitter le groupe pour se consacrer à une carrière solo, mais finalement, elle a changer d'avis et à remis ce projet à plus tard... En décembre 1998, le groupe décide de se séparer. Ce n'est pas une séparation définitive clament les filles... et elles le prouvent quand elles enregistrent leur duo avec Bow Wow en 2000 puis deux nouvelles chansons en 2001 avec Jermaine Dupri. Elles se produisent aussi une ou deux fois en concert... mais tout cela se fait à 3 (sans Kandi trop occupée dans sa carrière solo). A côté de ça LaTocha multiplie les featurings, les BO de films et l'écritude de chansons... en 2000 elle devait sortir son album "Life Goes On" mais celui-ci est annulé... Puis en 2002 elle signe un contrat avec un tout petit label de sa ville natale Atlanta, le label d'un de ses meilleurs amis, et avec lui, elle enregistre l'album "Solo Flight 404' sorti dans la région d'Atlanta le 14 octobre 2003 ! Cet album est un BIJOUX ! C'est pour moi : LE MEILLEUR ALBUM DE 2003 !!!


LaTocha Scott was in Xscape my fave one ! Her voice is so... so... so... WOW ! In 1996 she elready thought about a solo career but she finally changed her mind and decided to stay in Xscape. But in decemnber 1998, the group decided to split. Pay attention because this is not a definitive split and the girls will probably be back one day. Look, they didn't stop in 1998 : in 2000 they recorded (as a 3-piece, without Kandi) the hit single "Bounce With Me" with Bow Wow and then they had 2 tracks out in 2001 ! Besides that, LaTocha did a lot of featurings, soundtracks and writings. In 2000 she should have released her debut album "Life Goes On" but it was cancelled. Finally - after her hit singles with J-Shin (1999) and Trick Daddy (2002) she signed a deal with a small label of Atlanta (her town) headed by one of her best friends. With him she finally released her debut album "Solo Flight 404" on october 14th, 2003 in the area of Atlanta. This album is definitly the best album of 2003 ! Believe me it's ALL good !

Keyshia Cole est la nouvelle recrue d'Interscope Records. C'est aussi la petite protégée de Damon Elliot et de Mya... On se rappelle de sa chanson "Get Up" qui figurait sur la BO de "Biker Boyz" et qui avait été enregistré par Mya mais elle a finalement voulu laisser sa chance à Keyshia. On l'attendait en 2004 avec un premier single intitulé "Love", mais avant ça on aura le droit au single "Never" feat. Eve, qui sera le premier extrait de la BO de Babershop 2. ça vient tout juste de sortir en promo !


Keyshia is the newest Interscope Records' songtress and she is the young protegée of Damon Elliot and Mya. She had a track ("Get Up") on the Biker Boyz soundtrack, a song that was recorded by Mya but she finally decided to let Keyshia have a track on this soundtrack and she let her record this song ! Keyshia was sheduled to drop her debut single "Love" in 2004 but apparently her debut single will be "Never" a track featuring Eve and that is the first single taken from the Barbershop 2 soundtrack.
