China Moses est la fille du realisateur americain Gilbert Moses et de la chanteuse Dee Dee Bridgewater. Sa mère s'est installée en France quand China était petite fille... En 1996 elle sort son 1er single "Time" qu'elle a l'honneur d'interpreter dans un épisode de Moesha où elle jouait la correspondante française de Mo. Elle a déjà 2 albums à son actif et une quantitée incroyable de collaborations notamment avec Gomez et Dubois sur le tube "Hotel Commissariat". Son 3e album album "Good Lovin" sera dans les bacs en janvier 2004 !

Tymes4 c'est 4 anglaises qui font de la pop/R&B et qui la font sacrément bien !!!! Elles ont commencé à chanter ensemble il y a 4 ans, et c'est le temps qu'il leur a fallut pour sortir leur album... car elles ont galérer les filles... En aout 2001 sort leur premier single "Bodyrock", c'est un succès moyen (#22 des charts anglais)... ensuite en décembre sort le single "She Got Game' mais malheureusement la chanson ne depasse la 37e place des charts... on entend alors plus parler de Tymes4 en Angeleterre et les rumeurs de séparation vont bon train... en fait le contrat des filles a bien été rompus en Angleterre mais elles ont conservé leur contrat européen et de mai à octobre 2002, elles sortent leur single "Bodyrock" en Finlande, en Autriche, en Allemagne puis en Hollande... Le single n'est au rendez-vous nul part, c'est néanmoins en Hollande qu'il marche le mieux. En avril 2003 elles sortent le single "Hooked" en Hollande mais c'est un bide (#69 des charts) et l'album qui sort quasiment en même temps passe COMPLETEMENT inaperçu... En octobre 2003 il est sorti au Japon et à Taïwan mais sans succès (d'autant plus qu'aucun single n'est sorti là-bas !). C'est album est une rareté et pourtant cet album est une tuerie et Tymes4 est un groupe terrible... mais on dirai bien qu'elles doivent se contenter d'une carrière underground parce que les medias les boudent un peu (pourtant elles font de la pop/R&B comme quoi ce style musical n'est pas toujours commercial !)

Tymes4 are 4 girls from the UK who do pop/R&B and do it really well ! They started singing together 4 years ago and that was the time they used to release their album because they had to struggle hard to have it out ! In august 2001 they released their first UK single "Bodyrock" that charted at #22, then (in december) there was the single "She Got Game" that was #37 and then nobody had no heard about them anymore in the UK... everybody thought the girls split and they were dropped.... In fact they were dropped from their UK label but not their european and between may and october 2002 they released their album in Finland, Austria, Germany and Holland. It almost flopped everywhere but it was in Holland that the girls had a bit of success. In april 2003 they released a new single "Hooked" in Holland but it flopped (only #69 in the charts) and the album released quite at the same time wasn't noticed at all ! This album is really rare it is really excellent and Tymes4 are a so hot group... Their album was released in october in Japan and Taïwan but it does not seems it has success as the single "Hooked / She Got Game" had not been properly released !).

Jhene est la cousine de Lil' Fizz de B2K... mais c'est aussi une jeune chanteuse de 16 ans aux 5 octaves ! On attend son album depuis presque 2 ans !!! Il arrête pas d'être repoussé... normallement il devrai sortir le 16 mars prochain. La première fois qu'on a pu entendre Jhene c'était en novembre 2001 avec un titre sur la compil de Noël du label Epic. Depuis on l'a entendu ses chansons sur deux BO et sur les albums de B2K. En mai 2002 elle a sorti son premier single "Dog" mais celui-ci est resté à l'état de promo... puis en février/mars 2003 le groupe Tha' Rayne lui cèdent leur chanson "No L.O.V.E" ! Jhene la ré-enregistre et en fait son 1er "vrai" single qui débarque sur les ondes americains en septembre 2003... malheureusement le succès n'est pas au rendez-vous... peu importe son nouveau single sort très bientôt, et l'album devrai suivre...

Jhene is B2K's Lil' Fizz cousin but she is also a young 16 years old songtress with a 5 octaves range voice ! We are waiting for her album since almost 2 years ! And it don't stop being delayed. It should be released on march 16, 2004 ! The first time we could heard Jhene was on a christmas comilation in november 2001. Then some of her songs appeared on soundtracks and B2K's albums. In may 2002 she puts down her first single "Dog" but its radio release was cancel and the single stayed as a promo only. Then in february/mars she was allowed to cover Tha Rayne's track "No L.O.V.E." and she made it her "real" debut single (with a video and a radio release) which impacted the airwaves in september 2003... sadly it didn't do that well... but anyway Jhene is about to release a new single and her hot debut album soon !

Na'Shay est la concurrente directe de Jhene... Mais elles ne jouent pas dans la même cour puisque Jhene est signée par un gros label alors que Na'Shay n'est que sur un label independant. Sa carrière à vraiment commencer en 2002 quand elle a été signé par Monopoly Records, une maison de disques independante mais qui monte qui monte (ils ont entre autres Jesse Powell et Lil' J). A l'automne 2002, Na'Shay chante 2 chansons pour le dessin-animé "The Proud Family". En 2003, à l'âge de 14 ans, Nashay a sorti 2 singles : "Get Yo mind Right" et "Hey Mr DJ". Son album devait sortir en décembre 2003, mais il a été repoussé. On peut aussi l'entendre sur des featurings avec les artistes de son "crew" : Lil' J, 4 Deep, 2XL, etc...

Na'Shay is the direct competitor to Jhene... But they don't play in the same room because Jhene is signed to Sony while Na'Shay is at an independant record company. Her career started in 2002 when she signed a deal with Monopoly Records, an independant label which grows grows grows (they have Jesse Powell and Lil' J). In fall 2002 she performed 2 songs on Dysney's hit television cartoon The Proud Family. In 2003, at the age of 14, Na'Shay put down 2 singles : "Get Yo' Mind Right" and "Hey Mr DJ". Her self-titled debut album should have been released in december 2003 but it has been delayed...

Tommi c'est 4 anglaises (5 au départ) agées de 18 à 22 ans, et victimes de la mode "Tommy Boys" (vetements de filles mais larges et sport). Le groupe s'est formé en 1999 ! Pendant 3 ans, elles ont démarché les maisons de disques, ont signés 2 contrats avec des gros labels et les ont rompus à chaque fois... alors en 2002 elles choisissent un label indepedant (Mo-Am) et sortent leur premier single (écrit par elles) "What Part Of No" (avec un clip qu'elles ont financer elles-même faute de moyen)... Ce 1er single - qui reste un single underground - aura une grande audience auprès du public Hip-Hop et sera même diffusé sur MTV Base ! Grace à ce titre underground, elles attirent l'attention de Sony qui les signe, leur propose d'enregistrer une chanson écrite par T-Boz et Kandi ("Like What") et d'en faire leur premier single commercial ! Le titre sort en juin 2003 et se place à la 12e place des charts ! Mais Tommi n'a pas envie de chanter les chansons imposées par Sony et d'ailleurs "Like What" ne reflète pas du tout leur musique disent-elles... elles décident de quitter Sony mais de rester chez Mo-Am... leur premier album sortira bientôt et s'appelle "Rugged" et leur nouveau single n'est autre que "What Part Of No", leur premier single de 2002, mais remixé !

Tommi are 4 english girls (5 at the beginning) aged between 18 and 22 and who are tomboys dressed. They formed in 1999 and for 3 years they looked for a record deal. They signed two deals with major labels but they borke them and in 2002 they turned their eyes on an independant record company and they released their debut single, the self-penned track "What Part Of No" (with a video funded by the girls themselves). The single gave them a good audience (the video was played on MTV Base !) and the attention of Sony who signed them and made them record a first commercial single, co-written by T-Boz and Kandi : "Like What". The single was released in june 2003 and charted at n°12 but it was not the way Tommi wanted to do music... they didn't wanted to sings song that Sony wanted them to sing and songs that don't reflect themselves... sp they left Sony but stayed with Mo-Am and they are now ready through this independant label their album "Rugged" and their new single, wich is not anything than their first 2002 single "What Part Of No" remixed !

18/2/2004 : Tommi a décidé qu'elles sortiraient un double single ! Le premier titre est toujours "What Part Of No", et le 2e titre est "It's Dat Choon", écrit par une des membres de Tommi ! Ce double-single devrait sortir sous peu... Tommi decided to release a double-single. The first title is still "What Part Of No" and the 2nd single is "It's Dat Choon" written by a member of Tommi ! This double A side single will hit the stores soon...
