Lisa Roxanne est une jeune chanteuse anglaise dont vous avez sans doute entendu parler... je voulais parler d'elle dans mon blog parce que je la kiffe vraiment beaucoup ! C'est la fille d'une chanteuse célèbre (d'origine jamaicaine) et d'un danseur (d'origine guyannaise). A 14 ans elle signe son 1er contrat, à 15 ans (mai 2001), elle sort son premier single "No Flow" qui se place à la 18e position des charts anglais... puis elle s'apprete à sortir un deuxième single "Ex-Boyfriend" le 3 septembre 2001, mais finalement, faute d'assez nombreuses diffusions radios, la sortie est annulée... pendant près d'un an on entend plus trop parler de Lisa... finalement, un an après elle s'apprete à sortir son nouveau single "Love Story" le 2 septembre 2002 suivit par son album "Diary Of My Dreams" mais l'histoire se répète et la sortie est annulée à la dernière minute... Depuis Lisa n'est plus sous contrat mais ça ne l'empêche pas de se produire comme en 2003 pour sa tournée avec Westlife. Elle a aujourd'hui 18 ans et prépare son come-back alors soyez prêt ! ça va être chaud !

Lisa roxanne is a young english singer who you probably heard about ! But I wanted to talk about her in this blog as I support her 100% ! She is the daughter of a famous singer (from Jamaica) and a dancer (from Guyana). She was signed at 14 and she released her debut single "No Flow" at 15, in may 2001, which single charted at n°18 of the UK charts ! Then she was ready to release her second single "Ex Biyfriend" on september 3, 2001, but because of not enough radios plays, the single was cancelled... then 1 year later she was about to released her new single "Love Story" on september 2, 2002 followed by her album "Diary Of My Dreams"... but story re-played and the single and the album were cancelled... Lisa is not anymore on her label but she still sings and she toured in 2003 with Westlife... Now aged of 18, she is preparing her come-back, so get ready because it will be hot !

Olivia de retour !!!! Ellle n'est plus chez J Records mais chez Interscope et elle a gardé toute sa fraicheur et tout son talent ! Si vous ne la connaissez pas, elle avait sorti son 1er album en 2001 avec les tubes "Bizounce", "Are You Capable" (feat. Eve) et "You Got The Damn Thing"... on se souvient aussi cette année là de son duo "Genius E Dub" sur l'album d'Erick Sermon... Fin 2003-début 2004, la voilà de retour, sur le nouvel album de son pote Avant déjà, où elle chante en duo le titre "Seems To Be", sur un featuring ("All I Want Is You") avec 50 Cents et G-Unit pour le mixtape-game et avec 3 titres sur la BO de Barbershop 2 !!!! Un duo ("Unconditionally") avec G-Unit (sorti en promo en octobre dernier) et deux titres exclusifs : "All" produit par Lil' Jon et "Private Party". La BO sort aux States le 3 février prochain ! Très bientôt devrai sortir un nouveau single d'Olivia et un nouvel album est prévu pour cet été !!!!

She will soon release her new single and new album (sheduled for this summer)... until this you can check the Barbershop 2 soundtrack hitting the stores 3/2/2004 !

Shanice est une diva !!!! Une diva qui sait rester modeste ! Elle a plus de 16 ans de carrière d'elle du haut de ses 33 ans seulement ! Elle a un palmares donnerait à beaucoup de quoi avoir la grosse tête... oui mais pas à Shanice Wilson, elle a su rester simple et accepte sans aucune difficulté de faire les choeurs - même pour des débutants - et la liste de ses choeurs est impressionnante !!! Aujourd'hui Shanice fait une longue pause pour se consacrer à son époux (l'humoriste Flex), leur enfant et le bébé à venir !


Shanice is a diva !!! A diva that know how to not be too proud ! She has a 16 years long carreer, and she is only 33 ! Her charts topping singles and album would have give somebody else a "big head" but Shanice is not too proud to do loads of background stuffs - even for newcoming artists ! Today Shanice's career is on hiatus as she is concentrating on her family life with funnyman Flex, their child... and a new coming baby, expected for very soon !

Ketara "KeKe" Wyatt est de retour !!! C'est une des grandes nouvelles de ce début d'année !!! Comme beaucoup d'aspirantes-chanteuses elle a commencé à chanter à l'église. A l'âge de 12 ans déjà elle interessait les maisons de disque et notemment LaFace, mais cela n'a pas aboutis... elle a alors fait partie de plusieurs girlsbands dont une version anterieure de Destiny's Child, avec Beyoncé. A l'âge de 15 ans, elle rencontre le producteur Steve Huff avec lequel elle enregistre plusieurs démos. A 19 ans, il lui présente un jeune chanteur : Avant et ils enregistrent ensemble le titre "My First Love" pour l'album d'Avant. Lorsque ce titre sort en single en 2000, tous les yeux se portent sur la jeune chanteuse qui l'accompagne. KeKe enregistre alors son album "Soul Sista" qui sort le 13 novembre 2001, avec le single "Used To Love"... Des démélés avec la justice (KeKe blesse son mari (et manager) avec un couteau à steack le jour de noel 2001), ne font pas barage au grand succès de son 2e single "Nothing In This World" en duo avec Avant... et ne l'empêche pas de sortir en avril 2002, un 3e single "I Don't Wanna". Elle est aujourd'hui de retour, sur la BO de "Barbershop 2" avec un magnifique duo avec Avant ("Your Precious Love"), et elle enregistre actuellement son nouvel album !

Ketara "KeKe" Wyatt is back ! Like many aspiring singers KeKe started to sing at school, then when she was 12 she has been looked by labels like LaFace but things didn't just happenned. Then, she was a member of several girl groups including an early early version of Destiny's Child, with Beyoncé. At the age of 15 she met producer Steve Huff with who she recorded few demos. When she was 19, he introduced her to a young singer he was working with : Avant. They recorded together the song "My First Love" for Avant's album. And when it was released as a single in 2000, it put all eyez on the new singer duetted Avant. KeKe gets a deal with MCA and recorded her album "Soul Sista" that was released on november 2001, and included the singles "Used to Love", "Nothing In This World" with Avant, and "I Don't Wanna"... Now after troubles with the justice (she strabbed her husband with a steack knife) she is back on the Barbershop 2 soundtrack with a hot duet with Avant : "Precious Love" a remake of Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell's hit. She is curently recording her new album.

Trina a commencee en 1991 comme choriste de Bobby Brown (pendant 1 an et demi) puis de rencontres en rencontres, pendant 5 ans, elle fait les choeurs pour BeBe & CeCe Winans, Dennis Austin, Toni Braxton, Whodini, ou encore Usher... elle rencontre finalement Jermaine Dupri en 1996 qui tombe sous le charme et la signe chez So So Def/Columbia. L'annee suivante elle fait un debut en solo tres remarque sur la BO de "Love Jones", avec le titre "Inside My Love". En 97-98, en meme temps que de bosser sur son album, elle multiplie les collaborations notamment avec Aretha Franklin pour qui elle a ecrit le tube "Here We Go Again" (1998). En 1999 sort le premier single de Trina Broussard : "Love You So Much", mais malheureusement il ne se hisse qu'a la 74eme place des R&B Charts... L'album "Inside My Love" sort en promo mais sa sortie dans les bacs est annulee. C’est un des plus gros gachis de la Soul ont ecrit alors les chroniqueurs. Durant les annees qui suivent Trina continue a ecrire et faire les choeurs pour de nombreux artistes... elle decroche enfin un nouveau contrat avec Motown en 2003 et elle s'apprete aujourd'hui a sortir son nouveau single "Losing My Mind" qui est en fait une vieille chanson de son album de 1999 mais a laquelle on a donner un petit coup de fraicheur...

Everything started out in 1991 as a background vocalist for Bobby Brown during a year and a half), then during 5 years she ;et a lot of people in the industry and recorded background vocals for artists such as BeBe & CeCe Winans, Dennis Austin, Toni Braxton, Whodini or Usher. She finally met Jermaine Dupri in 1996. He fell in love with her music et signed her to So So Def/Columbia. The yeqr qfter, she made a remarked solo debut on the Love Jones soundtrack with the song “Inside My Love”. In 97-98, besides working on her solo album she collaborated with a lot of artists such as Aretha Franklin for who she zrote the hit “Here We Go Again” (1998). In 1999 she puts down her first solo single “Love You So Much” but the song only made a #74 in the R&B charts... Then her album was released as a promo but its commercial release was canceled. During the following years she still wrote and did backing vocals for numerous artists... and now she is back on her own with a new Motown deal and a new single to be release soon called “Losing My Mind”... which is not that new as it was a track from her 1999 canceled album...
