Il lui en aura fallut du temps pour faire son come-back... 9 ans se sont écoulés depuis son 1er album "Do You Wanna Ride", qui fut disque d'or en 1995 et qui contenait le mega-tube "Freak Like Me", #1 aux States (et recemment repris par le groupe anglais Sugababes), et les singles "My Up & Down" et "It's All About You" ! On l'avait aussi entendu sur le tube planetaire de Warren G "What's Love Got To Do With It"... En 1997 son 2e album "Welcome To Fantasy Island", avec le single "(Freak) & You Know It" avait été annulé avant sa sortie (heureusement il est sorti en promo !) et le contrat d'Adina avec Elektra a été rompu... Aujourd'hui elle est signée chez un tout petit label (Rufftown) et s'apprete a sortir son 2e album, judicieusement intitulé "Second Coming", le 6 avril prochain. Le premier single qui en est extrait, est le très soulfull "Nasty Grind"... que du bon !

She took her time to make her come-back, but she is making a fat come-back with tracks that are hot to death ! 9 years have passed since her first (gold certified) album "Do You Wanna Ride" with the #1 smash hit single "Freak Like Me" and the singles "My Up & Down" and "It's All About You" ! She also appeared on Warren G's platinum single "What's Love Got To Do With It". Her second album "Welcome To Fantasy Island", with the single "(Freak) & You Know It" was promotionnally released in 1997 but the commercial release was cancelled and she was dropped from Elektra. Today she is signed to a small label called Rufftown and she is ready to release her new album untilted "Second Coming" on April 6th, 2004. The first single taken from hit is the soulfull and so good "Nasty Grind" !

Cherish ce sont 4 soeurs de la prolifique scene d'Atlanta. On a pu decouvrir Neosha, Farrah et les jumelles Felicia & Fellon, sur le single de Da Brat "In Luv Wit Chu", sorti l'an dernier. Très peu de temps après elles ont sorti leur premier single "Miss P", un titre excellent ecrit par Jermaine Dupri et Kandi Burruss ! Malheureusement le succes ne fut pas au rendez-vous (comme pour tous les groupes feminins depuis 2 ans !) et leur album, "The Moment" a été repoussé... Aujourd'hui Warner (leur maison de disque) annonce la sortie prochaine d'un 2e single et de leur album, maintenant re-baptisé simplement "Cherish"...

Cherish are 4 sisters from Atlanta. We discovered Neosha, Farrah and twins Felicia & Fellon, on Da Brat's single "In Luv Wit Chu" released last year. Soon after they released their debut single, "Miss P", written by Jermaine Dupri & Kandi Burruss ! Sadly the single flopped and their album "The Moment" was pushed back... Today, Warner (their label) is announcing the release of a new single and their album, now re-titled simply "Cherish"...

Keisha White a 17 ans, est londonienne, et son er single "Whatcha Gonna Do" est dispo dans les bacs anglais depuis le 15 mars dernier mais c un beau bide (51e des charts seulement !)... Cela fait plusieurs mois qu'on peut l'entendre sur la radio digitale 1xtra; Discographiquement, elle est apparue pour la premiere fois sur des featurings avec Paul Oakenfold (Harder They Come) et sur le single de Desert Eagle Disc (Bigger Better Deal). Depuis, tout est allé tres vite... Son premier single solo est un melange de R&B, de pop et de Funk/Rock, mais pour avoir ecouté plusieurs de ses titres, je peux vous dire que cette fille est une pure diva du R&B... ecoutez rapidement "Something He Can Feel" et vous ne pourrez etre que d'accord ! Son album, qu'elle a ecrit TOUS les textes, sortira bientot et comprend des prods de Scott Storch (Dr Dre, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson), Balewa Muhammad (Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera), Marko Rakascan (Maxwell), Soul Power (Jamelia, Monica) et Lucas Secon (P. Diddy, Tweet, Sugababes).

Kamari est une jeune chanteuse anglaise qui s'appre a sortir son premier single "Won't Let U Get Me" en avril. Le single sortira deja en vynil dans les bacs anglais, la semaine prochaine ! Pour beaucoup cette chanson est toute nouvelle, mais si ma memoire est bonne, cette chanson, elle traine sur le net depuis mai 2003 au moins... epoque ou elle est sortie en promo. Kamari est signee chez un label independant et son album est annonce pour l'automne 2004... Son single est 100% excellent, et le remix est un vrqi remix (100% different), mais j'avoue que depuis le temps je me lasse un peu...

Jody Lei est de retour avec un nouveau single "Just The Music" dont elle vient de tourner le clip au Bresil et qui sera dans les bacs anglais le 5 avril prochain... Rappellez-vous, il y a un peu plus d'un an, elle sortait son 1er single "Showdown", qui ne se fit qu'une petite 34e place dans les charts ! Cette jeune anglaise de 19 ans a une façon de melanger les styles et de décliner le R&B à la sauce "Jody Lei" ! Vraiment talentueuse ! On attend la sortie de son album "All About Lei" cette année, chez Independiente (le label anglais de So Solid Crew, Lisa Maffia ou Aaliyah)... L'album sampler sorti en promo il y a plus d'un an avec les titres "Oh No" (qui aurait du etre le 2e single), "Two Steps Closer" (feat. Wyclef Jean) et "Silent Smiles" nous avait donné une allechante idée de ce à quoi l'album devrait ressembler...
